Expert Warns Russia May Use 'Green Men' Tactic Against NATO

Oleksandr Kraiev, a lecturer at the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, warns that Russia could apply a "Crimea scenario" against NATO — deploying unmarked soldiers, the so-called "green men," under the pretext of protecting Russian-speaking minorities. This tactic would allow Moscow to provoke a conflict while maintaining a facade of civilian protection. The strategy was successfully used during Russia's 2014 annexation of Crimea.
