Lebanese president meets Trump in Washington to push for Israeli withdrawal

Lebanese President Joseph Aoun has travelled to Washington, DC to meet with Donald Trump. Beirut is seeking US backing to end the fighting and secure an Israeli withdrawal from southern Lebanon. The visit is part of Lebanon's diplomatic efforts to stabilise the situation along its border with Israel.
