John Greenway in 007 First Light: Bond's mentor built on British restraint

IO Interactive has revealed development insights behind John Greenway, James Bond's mentor in "007 First Light." The character, played by Lennie James of "The Walking Dead" and "Line of Duty," starts as cold and closed-off but gradually opens up as Bond joins a revived double-O training programme. Developers say Greenway was shaped by British literary tradition and the idea of "restrained emotion."
