Lviv memorial opens for Iryna Farion, nationalist who accused Poland of occupation
A memorial space dedicated to Iryna Farion, a radical Ukrainian nationalist activist, has been opened in Lviv. Farion was killed in July 2024 and was known during her lifetime for repeatedly accusing Poland of occupying parts of Ukraine, generating strong reactions in both countries. The opening took place despite the controversy surrounding her legacy.
