Nintendo says customers who paid tariff-inflated Switch prices are not owed a refund

Nintendo is seeking dismissal of a class action lawsuit in which customers claim they are owed refunds for Switch consoles bought at tariff-inflated prices. The company argues buyers "got exactly what they bargained and paid for" and are not entitled to compensation. The dispute follows Nintendo's own lawsuit against the US government over what it called unlawful tariff impositions, which critics say could allow Nintendo to recover the same tariff costs twice — once from consumers and once from the federal government.
