Russia sells gold reserves for 6th straight month as budget deficit hits 6 trillion rubles

In the first half of the year, the deficit reached nearly 6 trillion rubles (approximately 289 billion PLN). The move signals mounting financial strain on the Kremlin driven by the ongoing cost of the war.
