France Eyes EU-First Social Media Ban for Under-15s

France may become the first EU country to ban social media for under-15s if a bill backed by President Emmanuel Macron passes both houses of parliament. Similar bans have already been introduced in Australia and Indonesia. France is also moving to ban smartphones in high schools.
