Tusk: top doctor salary in public healthcare capped at 76,800 PLN a month

Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced that the government is preparing legislation to cap doctors' salaries in public healthcare at 16 times the minimum wage, equating to 76,800 PLN gross per month. Commenting on the figure, Tusk said "there's no poverty here." The bill is expected to go through parliament in September 2026.
