Poland joins Europe's IRIS2 satellite connectivity project

Poland's Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration has signed an agreement to join IRIS2, the European satellite connectivity project designed as a European alternative to Starlink. The move makes Poland a participant in building an independent EU communications infrastructure. IRIS2 is part of the bloc's broader push for strategic autonomy in space-based communications.
