Nazi victim's descendant tries to remove AfD wreath at Berlin Hitler plot memorial

Berlin marked the 82nd anniversary of the failed attempt to kill Adolf Hitler, during which a descendant of an executed Nazi opponent tried to remove a wreath laid by the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) party. The incident highlighted tensions over the AfD's attempts to associate itself with the anti-Nazi resistance. The July 20 plot commemorations took place at the memorial site in Berlin.
