Russian warship fires guns in rare live drill 45 miles off Plymouth in the English Channel

The Russian frigate Neustrashimy carried out a rare live-fire exercise in the English Channel on Monday, 45 miles south of Plymouth, on the same day Andy Burnham was appointed UK Prime Minister. The ship suddenly announced its intention to open fire and asked the British warship shadowing it to withdraw to a safe distance. The drill lasted around 30 minutes.
