Google Maps to integrate with Gemini AI for personalised travel suggestions

Google Maps is preparing to integrate with Gemini Personal Intelligence, a feature that would allow the app to draw on data from Gmail, Google Photos and Google Calendar to provide personalised travel suggestions. The functionality was discovered in the beta version's code but has not yet been activated. No launch date has been announced.
