Janusz Kołcz, the founding president of Gliwice Basketball Society (GTK Gliwice), has died at the age of 63. The club Tauron GTK Gliwice paid tribute on social media, writing: "He was one of those thanks to whom we are where we are today as a club." Kołcz was a key figure in building basketball in Gliwice.
