Polish Scholar Warns Phasing Out Aid for Ukrainians Will Hit the Most Vulnerable

Professor Ryszard Szarfenberg warns that Poland's planned phase-out of crisis aid for Ukrainian refugees will disproportionately harm the sick, disabled, elderly and carers. A refugee can effectively disappear from the system twice — first from official records, then from homelessness surveys.
