Sinaloa Cartel co-founder "El Mayo" Zambada jailed for life, fined $15bn

Ismael "El Mayo" Zambada, co-founder of Mexico's Sinaloa Cartel, has been sentenced to life in prison in the United States. He was also ordered to pay $15 billion after pleading guilty to flooding the US with vast quantities of drugs. Zambada was one of the world's most powerful drug lords for decades.
