Two Ukrainians Arrested for Scamming 77-Year-Old Woman Out of 67,000 PLN

Two Ukrainian nationals have been remanded in custody after defrauding a 77-year-old woman from Biała Podlaska County of over 67,000 PLN and £2,700 using the so-called "emergency scam" method. Officers from Międzyrzec Podlaski quickly tracked down the suspects and recovered all the stolen money. The scam involved impersonating relatives or officials to extract cash under the pretence of an urgent incident.
