New customs fees slash shipments from Shein and Temu by tens of percent

New fees on parcels from China have triggered double-digit drops in shipment volumes from Chinese e-commerce platforms, with some logistics firms reporting declines of several dozen percent. The slowdown is being felt most sharply on platforms such as Shein and Temu. The logistics industry argues, however, that this need not signal a permanent retreat by customers.
