Pope Leo XIV's speeches certified as human-authored by Australian AI detection firm
Australian firm Proudly Human, led by former chief scientist Dr Alan Finkel, has certified that a collection of speeches and writings by Pope Leo XIV was authored by a human, not AI. The review of the publication "Maps of Hope" was conducted in collaboration with the Australian Catholic University and Vatican cardinals. The certification carries symbolic weight given that Pope Leo XIV had previously declared artificial intelligence the greatest threat to humanity.
