Mercedes completes €1 billion Hungary factory expansion — electric C-Class rolls off the line
Mercedes has completed a roughly €1 billion expansion of its plant in Kecskemét, Hungary, more than doubling the facility's floor space. The first units of the electric C-Class have already rolled off the new production line, with a small electric G-Class also planned for future production there. The Hungarian plant is set to become one of the most important sites in Mercedes's global manufacturing network.
