Poland's Left Shelves Civil Partnership Bill Until After Elections
Sejm Marshal Włodzimierz Czarzasty has announced that the Left will not introduce a new civil partnership or next-of-kin status bill during the current parliamentary term. Minister Katarzyna Kotula declared the issue closed for her personally, saying the party is now focused on full marriage equality. The topic is not expected to be revisited until after the next parliamentary elections.
