Schools file 49,000 requests to hire unqualified teachers

As of mid-July, more than 20,000 teacher job vacancies were listed in Poland's national teacher job bank. School principals submitted over 49,000 requests to regional education authorities for permission to hire teachers without the required qualifications, according to data obtained by Dziennik Gazeta Prawna from education superintendents.
