Analyst: Judit Polgár's refusal is Magyar's government's first defeat in Hungary

Hungarian political analyst Gabor Torok has assessed that Judit Polgár's refusal to accept the presidential nomination is the first defeat for Péter Magyar's new government. The removal of incumbent president Tamas Sulyok had previously been seen as a political success. According to the expert, the setback in choosing a head of state weakens the new administration at the very start of its tenure.
