Prof. Dudek: PiS internal conflict is real and will weaken the party

Political scientist Prof. Antoni Dudek believes the conflict inside Law and Justice (PiS) is genuine and not a staged manoeuvre designed to court voters from both the right and the centre. In his view, Mateusz Morawiecki has limited capacity to attract new supporters, so the split will weaken rather than strengthen PiS. The division is unlikely to yield any strategic electoral benefits for the party.
