Czechs still flock to Polish border market in Krzyżanowice for cheaper shopping
Despite falling food prices in the Czech Republic, Czech shoppers are still crossing the border in large numbers to buy goods in Poland. Journalists from Czech news portal Novinky visited the market in the border municipality of Krzyżanowice and described a "Czech siege" of shoppers. The price difference between the two countries remains large enough to make the trip worthwhile.
