Polish rental market shifts as landlords start calculating returns more carefully

Renting out flats in Poland is no longer seen purely as easy passive income, according to economist Arkadiusz Derkacz of the Institute of the Rental Market. Landlords are increasingly comparing property with other investment options, analysing risk and potential returns. Derkacz says the model of renting out a flat simply because you happen to own one is fading, as the market becomes more professional and financially rational.
