Hinge creator raises $18m for Overtone – an AI dating app with no swiping

Justin McLeod, the creator of dating app Hinge, has raised $18 million for a new venture called Overtone. The app aims to eliminate swiping and traditional profiles, letting artificial intelligence match users with potential partners on their behalf. The concept has drawn comparisons to the dystopian TV series Black Mirror.
