Simplified Electricity Bills for 16.5 Million Polish Homes From Autumn 2026
Poland's Ministry of Energy has drafted a regulation to simplify electricity bills for 16.5 million households. The new rules would eliminate unnecessary subscription fees, separate out commercial costs and make it easier to compare offers from different suppliers. The changes are set to take effect in autumn 2026 and will also make it simpler to switch from estimated to actual usage billing.
