US shuts down 2,000 sites illegally streaming World Cup matches

The US Department of Justice announced it has blocked or seized more than 2,000 websites that were illegally streaming World Cup matches. The action was carried out as part of an operation named "Red Card." It is one of the largest anti-piracy operations targeting illegal sports broadcasts.
