Bremerhaven's container observation tower built from 12 repurposed containers
In Bremerhaven, Germany, a 12-container observation tower was opened to the public in 1979, overlooking the world's longest container quay. The project was organised by the association „Verkehrsverein Bremerhaven-Wesermünde", which collected containers from over 30 companies. The 78 m² covered viewing platform is equipped with binoculars, maps and information boards.
