Lebanon's Aoun meets Trump in Washington over Hezbollah disarmament

Lebanese President Joseph Aoun travelled to Washington on Tuesday to meet Donald Trump amid mounting pressure to disarm Hezbollah, which is Israel's key condition for withdrawing from southern Lebanon. The visit comes a day after the US announced the launch of an agreement granting the Lebanese army control over pilot zones in the south of the country.
