Polish prosecutors to probe Pilecki Institute's New York branch over alleged crimes
The headquarters of the Pilecki Institute has filed a complaint with prosecutors over alleged crimes committed by the former leadership of its New York branch. Piotr Franaszek, who until recently headed the New York office, denies wrongdoing, tells "Rzeczpospolita" he is being made a scapegoat, and says he intends to take legal action. The dispute centres on the management of the Polish historical and cultural outpost in New York.
