Mexico City's Art Toys Museum Displays Rare Figurines from Marvel to Michael Jackson

Although this place appears to be just another toy business tucked away in the city, it's actually a small museum where the first floor is filled with limited edition figurines . This is the Art Toys Museum.

Back in 2015, a group of Mexican collectors decided to start the museum as a way to showcase their collection. Most of the museum features figurines created by Hot Toys, Sideshow Collectibles, and Prime 1 Studios. These types of toys are known for their realism, with most of the figures in the collection being handcrafted.

A visit to this museum begins with beloved pieces from the worlds of Marvel and DC Comics. Among the other figures featured, visitors are treated to characters from Breaking Bad , video games like Resident Evil, and movies like The Terminator. There are also rare figurines of Bruce Lee and Michael Jackson as he appeared in the iconic Thriller video.

This collection of toys for big children ends with a section dedicated to Star Wars. There is also a small gift shop inside. Some of the exhibits do rotate occasionally, with new rare figurines to be viewed.
