Exoplanets around Barnard's Star are extremely uninhabitable, study finds
Astronomers have produced the most detailed portrait yet of the planetary system orbiting Barnard's Star, the nearest single-star system to the Sun. All four known planets in the system have been found to be "extremely uninhabitable." The findings offer the most comprehensive assessment to date of conditions around one of our closest stellar neighbours.
