FCC moves to retroactively ban DJI gadgets sold through front companies
The US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is preparing to use its retroactive ban powers for the first time, targeting suspected "DJI front companies" that allegedly circumvented import restrictions by disguising the Chinese origin of their products. The FCC granted itself these retroactive powers in October last year. The move would revoke import and sales approval for devices already on the US market.
