EU Fines AliExpress Hundreds of Millions for Illegal Products

The European Commission has fined AliExpress hundreds of millions of euros for allowing illegal products to be sold on its platform within the EU. In addition to the financial penalty, the platform will be required to implement changes to comply with EU regulations. It is one of the most significant sanctions imposed on a Chinese e-commerce platform in Europe to date.
