Game of Thrones universe expands with a brutal new release

George R.R. Martin 's world of Westeros has had its fair share of busy eras. From the Doom of Valyria to Aegon Targaryen's Conquest of Westeros, backed by his sisters, Visenya and Rhaenys, to The Dance of the Dragons, the Blackfyre Rebellion, and eventually, Robert Baratheon's rebellion, which would ultimately cripple the House from Dragonstone. Outside the world of fantasy, Westeros has become exceedingly busy well beyond the bounds of the original Game of Thrones series. HBO and Warner Bros. have embarked upon an effort to expand the franchise beyond its previous limits of novels and television.
