Russia Lost 21 km² in Ukraine — Biggest Weekly Loss Since September 2023

Russia lost 21 square kilometres of territory it controlled in Ukraine during the week of July 13–19, according to the Ukrainian open-data project DeepState. This marks the largest single-week Russian territorial loss since September 2023 and the fourth week this year in which Russia has ceded ground. The figures point to increasingly effective Ukrainian offensive operations.
