Flash flood swamps Szczecin streets after violent downpour

A violent storm hit Szczecin on Monday, flooding several streets and making many roads temporarily impassable. The city's stormwater drainage systems were overwhelmed by the sheer volume of water. Large quantities of rainwater poured into the city in a short time, causing localised flooding.
