AI Agents Need Context-Aware, Layered Policy Enforcement
An empirical study published on eunomia.dev finds that AI agent policy rules fail without proper context and layered enforcement mechanisms. The researchers tested an eBPF-based approach to monitor and control agent behaviour at the OS level. Static rules without contextual awareness either leave security gaps or over-restrict legitimate agent actions, the study concludes.
