Polish Government to Let Judges Work Past 65 More Easily, Curb Ministry Secondments

The Polish government is set to consider on Tuesday an amendment to the Law on the Organisation of Common Courts. The bill would make it easier for judges to continue serving beyond the age of 65 and would regulate non-judicial secondments of judges, including placements at the Ministry of Justice. The changes are aimed at improving the efficiency of the court system.
