RSF warns Paramount–Warner Bros. merger threatens TVN24's independence

Reporters Without Borders (RSF) warned on Monday that the proposed Paramount Skydance takeover of Warner Bros. Discovery could directly threaten the editorial independence of Polish news channel TVN24. The group called on the European Commission to make any merger approval conditional on guarantees for TVN24. Warner Bros. Discovery currently owns the channel.
