Judit Polgár declines nomination as Hungary's president

Hungarian chess grandmaster Judit Polgár declined on Monday the offer to become Hungary's president, saying she did not feel up to the role. Her candidacy had been proposed the previous day by Prime Minister Péter Magyar. The head of state position therefore remains unfilled.
