Greater Manchester NHS avoided Palantir for 9 years with homegrown data platform
Greater Manchester's integrated care board is the only one in England to have rejected the Palantir-built federated data platform used by the NHS. Over nine years, the region built its own data capability in partnership with British universities, NHS clinicians and domestic technology firms. Dr Devan Moodley highlights Manchester as proof that a domestic alternative to Palantir is viable for the health service.
