West Africa approves $25bn, 6,000km Atlantic gas pipeline starting in 2028

Fourteen West African countries have approved a $25 billion, 6,000-kilometre gas pipeline running along the Atlantic coast. Construction is set to begin in 2028. The project aims to connect the region's gas resources and boost energy supply along the West African coastline.
