Feige calls scrapped Mahershala Ali "Blade" a personal failure
Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige admitted in the "Happy Sad Confused" podcast that he feels like a loser for failing to get the Mahershala Ali "Blade" project off the ground. Announced in 2019, the film struggled with production problems for years before being dropped from Marvel's release calendar. Feige said he took comfort in Wesley Snipes' return as Blade in the 2024 film "Deadpool & Wolverine."
