Polish Health Ministry to monitor doctors' pay share in facility budgets via three new indicators
Poland's Ministry of Health has sent a draft regulation to 10-day public consultations, introducing three new indicators to monitor the share of staff wages — including the split between employment contracts and civil contracts — in the budgets of NFZ-funded medical facilities. The move is part of a broader package of reforms announced by the health minister on 8 July. The data is intended to give the ministry greater oversight of how hospitals and clinics spend public funds.
