Destin Daniel Cretton, director of the upcoming film Spider-Man: Brand New Day, has said that Insomniac Games' trio of Spider-Man games was a major source of inspiration for the movie. The Insomniac series is widely regarded as one of the best adaptations of Marvel's most popular superhero. The film is set to hit theatres soon.
