Sinaloa Cartel Boss "El Mayo" Zambada Gets Life Sentence in U.S. Court

Ismael "El Mayo" Zambada, co-leader of the Sinaloa cartel, has been sentenced to life in prison in the United States. Prosecutors said he and Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán built the Sinaloa cartel into the world's largest drug trafficking organisation, ordering torture and plotting murders over decades. The cartel is responsible for smuggling vast quantities of drugs into the US.
