Hackers steal patient data from Craneware, used by thousands of US hospitals

Edinburgh-based tech firm Craneware suffered a cyberattack in which hackers stole a significant amount of customer data. The company provides billing software used by thousands of U.S. hospitals, pharmacies, and clinics, meaning sensitive patient health data may have been exposed.
