Dave Dawson, co-founder of bespoke lighting company Urban Electric, has died at the age of 53. He and his wife launched the business in Charleston, South Carolina, with no prior experience in the industry. Urban Electric grew into a celebrated example of American craftsmanship and domestic manufacturing.
